Privacy Policy

Advaspire Robotics and Coding Academy operates robotics and coding classes at physical centres in Malaysia. Each centre is operated by its own company — Advaspire Sdn Bhd and Advaspire Pentagon Sdn Bhd — and the centre your child attends is the one responsible for their records.

About the parent or guardian: name, email address, phone number, and postal address. These come from the registration form or are entered by our staff.

About the student: name, date of birth, gender, school name, the programmes they are enrolled in, class attendance, lesson progress, and any assessment results.

Photographs: our trainers may photograph a student's project work during class so parents can see what was built. Parents may also upload a photograph of a payment slip.

Payments: the amount, date, package purchased and payment status. Card and online-banking details are entered on our payment provider's own page and are never sent to or stored on our systems.

If you use the app: a notification token issued by Apple or Google, so we can send you reminders. It identifies the device, not you personally, and is deleted when you sign out.

We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell anything about you to anybody.

To enrol a student and run their classes; to record attendance and the sessions a family has paid for; to issue invoices and receipts; to show parents their child's progress; and to send reminders about upcoming classes, low session balances and unpaid invoices.

We keep records for as long as a family is with us, and afterwards only for as long as Malaysian accounting and tax rules require us to keep financial records.

Our staff — trainers see the students at their own centre; administrators see their centre's records. Nobody sees another centre's families.

Our service providers, who process data on our behalf and nothing else:

• Supabase — the database holding the records described above
• Vercel — hosting for the website and the app's services
• Billplz — takes online payments; receives your name, email and the amount due
• Expo, Apple and Google — deliver push notifications to your device
• Google Drive — stores photographs and files uploaded by staff

We share records with nobody else unless the law requires it, or you ask us to.

The app and the website are for parents, guardians and our staff. Children do not hold accounts and are not asked to provide anything directly. Information about a student is given to us by their parent or guardian, or recorded by a trainer during class.

If you would prefer we did not photograph your child's project work, tell the centre and we will stop.

See what we hold. Ask us and we will tell you, and send you a copy.

Correct it. Anything wrong — a misspelled name, an old phone number, an attendance mark you dispute — can be corrected. Tell the centre or write to us.

Have it deleted. Write to advaspire@gmail.com and we will delete your family's records, except those we are legally required to keep — chiefly invoices and receipts, which Malaysian tax rules oblige us to retain. We will confirm when it is done.

Stop notifications. Turn them off in your phone's settings; the app keeps working, and messages still appear in it when you open it.

Records are held in an access-controlled database. A parent can only see their own children; a trainer only their own centre. Payment credentials are encrypted before they are stored, and card details never reach us at all.

No system is perfect. If something goes wrong that affects your family's information, we will tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
